The sniffer dog training is divided into four modules. Each module gets completed by a practical and a theoretical test. In order to contest the next module it is mandatory to pass the examination of the preceding module*: Module 1 (duration 3 months) : Basic training, divided into 15 theoretical and 22 practical lessons. Examination* Module 2 (duration 3 months) Basic training in " sniffing " as well as first aid for dogs. First aid course will be performed by a veterinary. 10 practical works, 4 theoretical lessons. Examination* Module 3 (duration 3 months) Explosive search and training in handling explosive (performed by an explosive expert). 10 practical and 8 theoretical lessons. Examination* Module 4 (duration 4 month) Explosive search an tactical works (performed  by an expert). Final examination performed by an accepted expert. *Each test can be absolved twice. The second examination is liable to pay costs. For institutions such as army, police or custom, there are special training sessions. Completed trained dog scan be taken over.
